Ossetra Sturgeon Black Caviar (100g)

I ordered this for Christmas 2020. The product came on time and well packed; the ice packs were still frozen when I received it. The taste of the caviar was quite good and it DID have the pop. You could get a taste and pop on the roof of your mouth from picking up and eating even a single egg. I was impressed. The flavor was good but not quite as rich and nuanced as I had hoped for. But, as I said, it was good, and everyone who ate was impressed. I had 3.5 ounces for 5 people and that was more than enough. It is quite a rich food and though it is good, it is hard to eat too much at once. The only real objection I have is the color. The color for us was greenish. I know that this can vary among caviar and batches, but I will say that my guests were somewhat put off by the greenish color versus the black they were expecting. If I had known the color in advance, I would have been able to set expectations. I know this site mentions that your product may look different from the picture on the listing, but I wish this were a little better emphasized. All told, I got what I would consider a 4 star product for one half the price of this sites competitors, which is to say, I received a 5 star product.
