Unsurprisingly Winter Tarn Dairy’s salted and unsalted 200g butter rolls are made with great care and attention to detail in small batches using only the finest, fresh local dairy cream. Provenance and sustainability have always been part and parcel of Winter Tarn’s ethos. As a result, they only use cream from grass fed cattle, collaborating exclusively with a number of small herd dairy farms in the Northwest of England, which in turn ensures that these farms obtain a fair price for their milk, enabling them to continue to farm in the way that they would want.
