I think Chinese has a different standard for staples. Their staples are always thicker than the standard US ones. Even they say it is standard but they look like heavy duty ones compared to the standard one I bought from stores. If you have the same number of staples in a strip to compare with, the strip is about 10% longer, which means each staple is 10% wider than US standard staple. That gives extra strength. The color looks a bit of dull compared to the shining standard ones maybe because of their thickness. But anyway they perform very well in my standard staplers and heavy duty staplers. The package does look cheap. I have to be very careful when opening the flimsy box to avoid them falling everywhere on the ground. Highly recommend these.
