National Lab Notebook, Quadrille Rule (5 sq/in), Green Marble Cover, (96) 10.13 x 7.88 Sheets

Great lab notebook and any students/teachers notebook tool!I was using the notebook for organic chemistry notes and there is so much you can write on one page that it is the first notebook I really like for science notes.I like pretty much everything about this notebook. However, there are few things you might need to consider before buying it.1st, the pages are thin and it is good you use non-bleeding ballpoint pen when writing. I make notes on both sides with ballpoint pen, but if you use a pen that has gel/ink of medium to bold thickness, you will have to probably use one side of paper only. I used some gel pens on it, but they don’t bleed through much as they are fine in thickness, but not sure if all will work same.2nd, the grid is small and perfect to fill in as much as you would get a larger format of a notebook, so you pretty much get same deal, but it’s easier to carry smaller notebook than larger one.3rd, the sewn pages are well done and no pages will fall out. Very well done!4th, the cover is very nicely stiff, it won’t bend or break, at least from my experience. The colors on the cover will somehow fade over time with use, but it doesn’t make any difference to me.5th, it is very inexpensive notebook that I will use in lab starting this week. So, if anything goes wrong, I will update on lab uses.One thing to keep in mind is that the pencils are not ment to be used with these notebooks (they mostly are very light, but using standard 2B hardness of wooden pencils works on these, so I will be getting these 2B and 4B hardness refills for my pensils to use if for classes notes (for assignments in math/organic chem, etc.it might be useful to have). Pensils I used included 1.1 mm rite-in-rain pencil that didn’t do well on these pages. I recommend the softer pensils if you must.I will try to add some pictures soon.This is very inexpensive notebook and I recommend using it for lab experiments for your organic chemistry, biology and research projects.
