12″ Guillotine Paper Cutter, 15 Sheets Capacity, Metal Base (Black A4, 12in 1P)

As an avid crafter I am always having to cut paper and things. The problem is I couldn’t cut a straight line to save my life. I had a different type of cutter and I kept telling myself I needed one of these guillotine type ones for a while now.With my other one I couldn’t ever get the paper lined up properly to cut it well. I would have to either make several cuts pushing the paper closer to the razor (which is what it used to cut) or cut right through my work because I misjudged things.With this one that is not a problem. All I do is lift up the arm and cut. I can see the edge I am cutting clearly. I like that the arm won’t just raise, you have to pull it out slightly to “unlock” it before you can raise it. It is a good safety measure to have.There is a guide as well that keeps your paper straight and in place. Which I need so badly. This has made my crafts as well as my bible study (I cut and add pages to my bible) much easier. I am not battling scissors doing it one page at a time and wasting my day.I also love the size and weight of this one. I can remember the ones we used to have at school (more than 20 years ago) and they were large and very heavy. This one is not. It is a manageable size and as someone who is battling arthritis I can easily pick this one up and carry it. It is very light weight.
